Alex is a pretty good hockey player for a kid but he gets mad easily and spends a lot of time in the “sin bin.” When Alex’s grandfather comes for a visit, the two sit and listen to a hockey game on an old time radio which magically transports them to a 1960’s Chicago Blackhawks game where Stan Mikita is getting ready to score. Mikita and Alex become friends and together they learn how to control their tempers.
